You can adjust the shelving in each compartment to create a customized storage layout for whatever you have to store. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting is a nice touch, and the in-door storage bins feature a third shelf that can fold down to allow you to store items that are tall. The drawers are equipped with temperature controls so you can set them to Beverage, Meat, or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and close, but I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to manage your refrigerator from anywhere across the globe. It also has numerous options for customizing. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0°F and never fluctuated by more than a fraction, this is crucial to avoid freezing burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, achieving the temperature that was set for the initial setting within an hour and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our tests.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door as well as two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set sleeker drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded down to make space for tall items. There's also a full-width drawer to store deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best things about this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it simple to move frozen ice to the fridge for use when required. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, too, like sliding drawers to help you to organize the place of items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate one for ice.

It would have been more effective if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent option for those looking to combine the advantages of a French-door fridge's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it a great option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a basic design that's not as striking visually as some of the competition, but it has enough features to make it a solid option. Its main feature is the temperature adjustable drawer that helps keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser, as well as an excellent ice maker that operates quickly.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated over the two crisper bins, is another great feature. In my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. This is a great performance, but does not quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be paired with a smart thermostat to get more accurate readings on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is constructed of grey-bodied stainless steel with a "smudge-proof" finish. It is capable of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared with glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
